The priorities of the Governing Body of Staveley Junior School:

• To ensure physical and mental wellbeing of all staff and pupils.
• To ensure pupils make at least expected progress in line with their KS1 attainment.
• To ensure subject leaders are supported and developed so that there is curriculum coherence and leaders are able to make sure their own subject is providing strong outcomes at the end of the school year for all pupils.
• To support school leaders with the leadership and management of the school.
